During this past winter season, we had the pleasure of welcoming two outstanding fourth-year undergraduate public health students, Sam Hedayatfar and Van Khai Teck, as program interns for the flagship Team Kids Challenge program, which serves schools across Orange County and Los Angeles County. As part of their practicum experience, Sam and Van are serving as invaluable role models and mentors, leveraging their academic insights to tackle the social determinants of health in our communities.
