We are very excited to announce that Team Kids is partnering with Bracken’s Kitchen! As two Orange County based non-profit organizations who share the same mission of helping those in need, this partnership can help make a tremendous difference in the lives of children.

Did you know that youth are more hungry during the summer than at any other time of the year? Working collaboratively, Team Kids, Bracken’s Kitchen, and schools all over Orange County will host food drives with kids leading the initiative. Together, we will strive to end childhood hunger over summer.

Founder and CEO of Team Kids, Julie Hudash, and Founder and Culinary Director of Bracken’s Kitchen, Bill Bracken, share their thoughts on the initiative.

“It was so fun to witness the students’ excitement as they listened to Bill share his dream to end hunger and be invited to be a part of his team. This is a perfect example of kids helping other kids by stocking Bracken’s Kitchen. Chef Bill invited kids to be on his team and you can join as well. Watch out for how to join the effort.” – Julie Hudash

“We are so very honored to work with Julie and her team at Team Kids to help us feed the need this summer. And to think that Kids are going to help us feed other kids in need makes it so very special. But then the work that Team Kids does is always special.” – Bill Bracken

Fisler Elementary School in the City of Fullerton is kicking off this initiative by hosting a month long food drive for Bracken’s Kitchen!

A special thanks to our partners from the Fullerton Police Department and City of Fullerton Council Member Ahmad Zahra for inspiring our passionate young leaders.
