On Sunday, February 12th, the community gathered together at the Lakeview Senior Center in Irvine, CA to donate new coats and blankets, and write kindness letters to the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. An estimated 3,400 boxes were loaded onto a Turkish Airlines plane and sent to support the victims of the horrific earthquake.
A huge thank you to Irvine Mayor Farrah N. Khan, Sabil USA, Rotary International, Irvine Rotary, the City of Irvine, Irvine Police, Orange County Fire Authority and to the gracious volunteers who came together and made this event an incredible success.
