P.S. 182 The Bilingual Bicultural School in Harlem, has successfully completed the Team Kids Challenge!
Over several weeks, the 4th and 5th-grade leadership students completed weekly challenges, including collecting donations for their local hospital and homelessness center. At the end, the students planned and ran a carnival that raised $610 for Make the Road New York — an organization dedicated to building the power of immigrant and working class communities to achieve dignity and justice.
Throughout this journey, students received guidance and mentorship from Team Kids Lead Coach Lorraine, Coach Tiana, Team Kids Lead Coach Lorraine, and several NYPD Youth Coordination Officers. We can’t thank our staff and partners in NY enough for believing in our youth to change the world!
