Woodbury Elementary School

On behalf of Team Kids and our Public Safety Partners, we applaud the students and families of Woodbury Elementary School for taking action on these important community issues in the 2011-12 school year.

Week 1: Literacy  $1,600
Goal:  900 books
Outcome:  1,600 books for Early Literacy Program

Week 2: Homelessness  $4,000.00
Goal:  Fill 1 15-passenger van
Outcome:  2 vanloads toys and clothes for SWCC

Week 3: Hunger  $1,125
Goal:  3 barrels of food
Outcome:  3 barrels of food for Families Forward

Carnival  $817.42
100% of the proceeds from the carnival went to the Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF)

Woodbury Elementary School students raised cash and donated goods with a value of over $7,542 to charity!
Even more importantly, students learned the power they have to make a difference for other children and people in need.
