On behalf of Team Kids and our Public Safety Partners, we applaud the students and families of Deerfield Elementary School for taking action on these important community issues in the 2011-12 school year.

Week 1: Dental Health  $2,500
Goal:  500 toothbrushes/tubes of toothpaste
Outcome:  800 toothbrushes & 650 toothpastes for Rojo Gomez Anaheim Clinic

Week 2: Clean Water  $1,798.28
Goal:  $1,000.00
Outcome:  Clean water source for 2 schools in Nepal via A Child's Right

Week 3: US Military Troop Support  $1,000
Goal:  4 bins full
Outcome:  2 pickup loads of care pack items for Marine Corps Troop 2/4

Carnival  $1,900.00
100% of the proceeds from the carnival went to Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation

Deerfield Elementary School students raised cash and donated goods with a value of over $7,198 to charity!

Even more importantly, students learned the power they have to make a difference for other children and people in need.
